It was established in 2014 as a unit of the Dr. VKMA Medical Foundation, founded by Prof. Dr. Shivan Raj Ayyanathan in loving memory of his father, Late Dr. KM Ayyanathan, Ph.D (Hons. Edu.) The centre was formally inaugurated in 2018 to commemorate Dr. KM Ayyanathan’s 75th birth anniversary.

Dr. Archana S. Ayyanathan, the Medical Director, Chief Gynaecologist, and IVF Specialist, leads the centre with vision and compassion. In 2022, Dr. Archana IVF became a part of VKMAMF Hospitals Pvt. Ltd., a private limited organisation with Prof. Dr. Shivan Raj Ayyanathan and Dr. Archana S. Ayyanathan as its Directors.
